While many law enforcement agencies had wellness programs in place, fewer than 5% offered a comprehensive cancer wellness program. The gap was undeniable—and it was clear that meaningful change had to begin at the agency level.
A Vital Partnership in Wellness
In 2024, Blue Cancer Connect proudly partnered with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to launch its first-ever law enforcement cancer wellness program. This groundbreaking initiative was designed to bring critical resources, early detection opportunities, and cancer education to its deputies.
